Site clearance, earthworks, landscaping and construction of a reinforced concrete structure to bulk store and facilitate the feeding of raw materials via a series of conveyors.

Elements of the structure were over 15m high and cast to tight tolerances to receive the conveyors. Part of the structure was constructed within a sheet piled coffer dam assisted by well point dewatering as the formation was 6m below ground water table and within a sand strata.

Total of 500 tonnes of rebar, 4500m³ of concrete and 15000m² of shuttering installed in 26 weeks.

All work was undertaken on a live operational site and involved extensive third party liaison, management by CHC.
