Widnes Future Flower and Carter House Swing Bridge Officially Opened

The Widnes Future Flower and Carter House Swing Bridge were officially opened to the public on Monday 29th March.
The Mayor of Halton, Councillor Frank Fraser, braved the rain to open the Carter House Swing Bridge followed shortly afterwards by Councilor Tony McDermott who opened the Future Flower.
Later in the day the Granada Reports evening weather forecast with Fred Talbot was broadcast next to the Flower.
