Landfill contracts and associated services historically have been the cornerstone of our business in the solid waste sector of industry and to this day are an important key market.

We have been involved in many landfill projects throughout the UK over the last 40 years and for a varied client base ranging from local authorities through to private and licensed operators.

We have a proven track record and capability in providing a variety of landfill services. These include excavation and earthworks to form cells, lining of cells, capping, gas and leachate management systems, together with planned and reactive site infrastructure works such as haul roads, weighbridges and buildings.

In addition to the advantages of our own modern in-house plant and equipment fleet, we are able to offer clients a long standing continuity of experienced, reliable staff and a proven supply chain network that allows us to be both competitive and effective within this market sector.

We build upon this reliability and commitment of our workforce to develop relationships with our clients and create stronger working partnerships. We are fully knowledgeable and understanding of the regulatory framework that governs client operations, in particular the Environment Agency’s requirements.

Our projects have been traditionally delivered through competitive individual tendered contracts and we continue to secure work in this manner.

In recent years we have undertaken regional framework agreements with clients including Waste Recycling Group in the East Midlands and Scotland. These frameworks typically deliver programmes of work on a design and build basis against defined budgets.
