Cheetham Hill Construction Ltd

Frameworks

Our capabilities over the years have expanded to include partnering or collaborative working arrangements.

Our approach and track record in undertaking and embracing partnering and collaborative working on diverse and bespoke engineering and construction projects enables us to provide the expertise and flexibility to contribute to the selection of the solution and to realise the aspirations of projects.

During the mid 1990’s we were engaged on a Waste Water Network (Sewers) Framework for projects up to £1million with the Regional Water Authority (United Utilities) and undertook several contracts throughout the North West and Cumbria region.

Since 2009 we have also undertaken a Strategic Partnering Framework with Waste Recycling Group (WRG) for landfill and associated works on a design and build basis against defined budgets in the East Midlands and Scotland.

We were awarded a place in 2008 on the Lancashire County Council Environment Directorate Framework for the Construction of Waste Transfer Facilities at three locations. We are currently undertaking the £2.7million contract for the design and construction of one of these facilities at Skelmersdale, Lancashire, which will be completed in the summer of 2010.

In 2009 we were awarded a Strategic Partnering Framework with the Environment Agency (North West Region). This  Minor Works Partnering Framework undertakes work within the Flood Prevention and Capital Asset Programme. To date we have successfully undertaken numerous contract under this framework.

2010 is a challenging time for the construction industry but the current recession makes CHC even more committed to underpin its in-house capabilities and build upon the Company's ethos and reputation within the industry with a clear focus on delivering solutions for clients under future Framework arrangements.
